Wildlife CSI carries Public and Product Liability Insurance, WorkCover/WorkSafe and Professional Indemnity Insurance.

Safety

Wildlife CSI is committed to safe work practices in all its projects. Staff are provided with the following Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

  • Steel capped work boots
  • Hard Hat
  • Sun hat
  • Safety/Sun Glasses
  • Ear protection
  • High visibility safety vests and clothing
  • Chaps
  • Waders
  • Sun screen
  • First aid kits

Wildlife CSI has developed the following Job Safety Analysis (JSAs), SWMS, procedures and guidelines and is continually monitoring and updating its work place safety guidelines, protocols and procedures:

  • Fauna Habitat Assessment
  • Fauna Monitoring, Salvage and Relocation during vegetation removal
  • Fauna Management Protocol
  • Notifiable workplace incident reporting procedures
  • Ladder Safety Guidelines

Wildlife CSI staff have experience in civil construction with large and heavy construction machinery, and tree felling operations and machinery. Staff have been inoculated for the Australian bat lysavirus and tetanus.

The Principal Zoologist and Directors of Wildlife CSI, Peter Myroniuk and Judith Tomlin, have the academic, technical, and combined practical experience in wildlife management.
